Lineal heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk said who he thought would be the winner between Otto Wallin and Anthony Joshua. Moreover, he talked about the bout Deontay Wilder will have with Joe Parker.
Oleksandr Usyk did this while talking with EsNews recently, following the announcement of the fighters that will face the two immediate heavyweight champions, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua.
After failed marathon negotiations between Joshua’s and Wilder’s sides, they have gone separate ways to seek other opponents for Joshua and Wilder, though a fight has not been cancelled between the two yet.
According to the latest reports, former WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will be facing Otto Wallin on December 23, while Deontay Wilder will meet former WBO heavyweight champion Joe Parker in the ring at the same venue for a professional bout. Others expected to vie for a win at the event include Dmitry Bivol, Jarrell Miller, and Daniel Dubois.
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was nearly beaten by Otto Wallin in 2019 but won by a slim split decision. Wallin has amassed a six-win streak since then and will be looking to make it seven by going through Anthony Joshua. Joshua, on the other hand, will be looking to make his win streak three after losing his three belts to the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in a two-fight battle. Having beaten two heavyweights since then and hunting for a heavyweight title, Joshua will be coming in determined, but Wallin might be the winner in the end.
Usyk did not think his former opponent, Joshua, would lose to Wallin. Formerly, he predicted that Joshua would win, but later settled for a draw.
Concerning Deontay Wilder’s bout with Joseph Parker, he said that Wilder will beat Parker by a knockout.
Oleksandr Usyk himself will be getting himself ready to face Tyson Fury on February 17, while making sure to prepare his body to deal with body shots better than he has proven able to.See Dollar(USD) to Naira Black Market Exchange Rate Today!
